Meeting attendance

Attendance at all meetings should be indicated through the website or emailing petroleumclub@freemanmedia.co.nz.

For member organisations who are not an explorers/operator a maximum of four attendees will be allowed to attend each meeting.  Explorer/operator attendance is unlimited. Additional attendees can be requested in writing, and will be considered on a case-by-case basis and will be charged at the quarterly attendance rate.

Cancellations

Cancellations made within 72 hours of an event may be carried over to the next event at the discretion of Freeman Media.

Any cancellations under 72 hours are non-transferable to a future meeting, substitutions with a member of your company can be made be made prior to the meeting.  Substitutions can be made by emailing petroleumclub@freemanmedia.co.nz making reference to the current member and providing a name and email of the company representative that will be attending as the replacement.

Sharing of information

The New Zealand Petroleum Club meeting is held under the Chatham House Rule, participants are free to use the information received, but neither the identity nor the affiliation of the speaker(s), nor that of any other participant, may be revealed.

Documents received as an inclusion of attending the meeting, cannot be freely distributed, and are for the use of the meeting attendees only.  If documents are shared outside of meeting attendees, an instant membership cancellation will occur with no refund of membership fee.

Confidentiality of meetings

The New Zealand Petroleum Club meetings are held under the Chatham House Rule:

When a meeting, or part thereof, is held under the Chatham House Rule, participants are free to use the information received within their own organisation. This information is not to be distributed externally, nor is the identity, affiliation of the speaker(s), nor that of any other participant.

· No journalists will be present from Energy News or from any other media outlet

· Attendance will be restricted to members and invited guests only

Scout Check or Club?

The New Zealand Petroleum Club is not a scout check strictly speaking and participants are not expected to provide detailed drilling reports nor will they receive the same.  The expectation is that an activity review of each participating company will highlight current operations, upcoming plans and other industry wide knowledge sharing useful for the larger group.
